THE STORY
a new generation of queer nightlife has landed in san francisco.
QUEEN OUT is a san francisco DJ collective led by prolific cross-genre club DJ and SF Sapphic Pride founder MAMA SAN, and their best friend, detroit-born hyperpop enthusiast and marketing extraordinaire tson. we throw high-octane 360° queer raves — notably not just gay, but queer and radically inclusive. the uniquely mixed crowd comes, in part, from an unusual marriage of pop and hyperpop-adjacent hard dance with afro-inspired genres like funk and club: ass-shaking beats with lots you'll be able to sing along to.
QUEEN OUT packs out rooms of all sizes with diverse queer friend groups ready to jump, dance, and scream lyrics together, no matter how they identify — and regularly donates proceeds to mutual aid and LGBTQ+ foundations.
since february 2025 in the castro, QUEEN OUT and its sister party LESBEAUX have been credited as major contributors to san francisco's WLW nightlife renaissance, bringing lesbian, femme, and trans crowds into the city from across the bay — a trend big enough that lyft covered it. in 2026, QUEEN OUT was the only local DJ collective on the main stage at san francisco pride.
